Feedback:

Apparently, GTE's employees (maybe not all, but Carlos- FOR SURE) think that it is okay to pay an outstanding balance on one person's account, with another account full of someone elses money! Friend "A" paid off a loan FOUR YEARS AGO, but never closed out the account, and was added to friend "B"'s business account 11 months ago. Today, when "A" went to the bank for "B's" business account, Carlos told him he would be withdrawling the money from the business to apply to A's former account, who was being charged on the former account for inactivity. Obviously, when "A" and "B" went down to the bank together, they were upset over Carlos' decisions. Carlos told them "I could do something about it, but I'm not going to." (Professional, right?!) In this time, the deduction was made from B's account for A's stagnant account, and Carlos was quick to shut both accounts down. We'll fast forward to where A and B called the police. While waiting for the police to arrive, Carlos was frantically moving around the bank shutting down this computer, picking up this phone, hanging up, picking up the other phone, sketchy activity. Friend B calls corporate, who says "What? This account is active, the money is right here." So, apparently calling the police scared Carlos enough to put the money back that he had stolen from B to A, (thoughtful Carlos, but not okay). The cops showed up and Carlos was miraculously compliant, (to the boys in blue, still not looking A or B in the eye). This branch is a joke. The bank itself is a joke. I have no questions as to why this GTE only has two stars.

Only one out of two virtual bankers is currently working and I’ve been waiting in line for more than 20 minutes just to make a deposit. So many offices and employees and none can help. I’m still in line...

Went in there for a loan, the woman just gave me this weird look as if I had no business being there. I had to call corporate then they got all nice and sweet with me and

I hate this bank so much. Their ATMs (drive up, walk up, inside teller) always go down. Every other week the dang thing is down! The staff suck and are rude, and their banking is just all around screwed up!!! terrible customer service that hangs up on you, terrible people who just stand around and talk and ignore you for five minutes, you're better off under your mattress!

No more humans work here and there are only 2 machines that connect you to a video chat. Waits are long because there are only 2 available. I've been with them for 30 years but leaving them now to go to a bank that has real live tellers. Regions Bank is close and has good reviews.

Parking is somewhat difficult as the parking lot is a bit cramped. Use caution turning into lot as the entrance is used by neighboring businesses.

I came in at 555 and they kicked me out wouldn’t assist me and some guy gave me his business card I’ll never go back into a get bank or use gte in any way whatsoever
