Terrible credit union. They attempted to pull a bait and switch. I got a refi quote for my car loan from another credit union and sent it to GFCU. Their website says "they can beat anybody by .25%". I was lied to over the phone and told that they could BEAT THE RATE and MATCH THE TERM offered, but that they couldn't offer the 2 months no payment/no interest promotion from the other credit union. I decided that I wanted a lower rate and brought all of my paperwork into their Tanner Rd location. After wasting an hour of my time opening an account and running through all the paperwork, I was told they would NOT be able to MATCH THE TERM offered from the other credit union. I HAD PROVIDED THE OTHER OFFER TO THEM IN WRITING PRIOR TO COMING IN! After pushing the point and telling the branch manager that I was guaranteed an offer over the phone - I was pretty much called a liar. I'm VERY TEMPTED to report this credit union to CFPB since their behavior was nothing short of deceptive. They were a complete waste of time and I urge EVERYONE to shop around before moving forward with GFCU since I ENDED UP GETTING A BETTER RATE AND TERM THAN GFCU CAN OFFER. They are rude and lie.
