Feedback:

Everytime I go in I am greeted by name and all the staff are very friendly. loans are easy to get and reasonable interest rates are set. Online banking is very easy.

Feedback:

Always friendly and very helpful, not at all predatory, this is the best place to bank on the Peninsula: Branch in Ocean Park too! If there's ever a wait, it's worth it.

Feedback:

Horrible service . They say they contacted me about my card being over drawn for an automatic charge that they didn't even pay but want me to pay them $70 for i am very irritated with their service i have never overdrawn before this point and instead of calling me they charged off my card

Feedback:

Went there on a Friday and was referred to them by Manny the salesman that got me a beauty of a car. (Volkswagen Tiguan) The Cashiers and the Finance department staff were very friendly, efficient and gave me quite a few pointers! I got my auto loan within an hour and at a low rate of 9.9 apr, I mean my payments are so cheap for such a pricey car. I am so overall pleased with them, they were so helpful, especially for a person that has no credit and wants to build up. I would recommend anyone to try this place first! I mean 258 a month on my car payments!! Never had a payment so cheap!! Will defiantly be going back to them for a second vehicle loan when this one is payed off.

Feedback:

I recently got an auto loan through Great Northwest Federal Credit Union and I was surprised and pleased by how easy and fast Anne made this process. Anne Jones really worked hard to get me my auto loan and a great monthly rate. As a first time auto loan borrower, I would definitely recommend this credit union to anyone. Nice, quick customer service

Feedback:

I have had an account with GNWFCU for only a couple of months and have consistently been disappointed. I arrived to the area in October and found that the CU I have been a member of for years (Alaska USA - and they are EXCELLENT, btw) did not have a branch here. I looked for shared branch banking (SBB) and GNWFCU was listed so when I stopped in to the Aberdeen location. I was told that particular location no longer did SBB because it "took away services from their members" - I was told to try the Raymond location. Attempting to understand that it was a customer service issue rather than an attempt at elitism, I asked what it would be to open an account (my father has been a GNWFCU member for almost 20yrs), and was told that I needed to have proof of both physical and mailing address (I had only been in town about a week and had not yet received any mail), so I waited. When I was finally able to provide said documents as they would not allow my father to "vouch" for my residency, I waited almost a half hour to open my account and was refused restroom services while I waited. While I personally find it abhorant to refuse restrooms to anyone, what I find to be even worse is that after my account was set up (a total of an hour with my eyes floating), the woman who opened my account allowed me to use the restroom since I was now "a member". I was told that I would be able to do things with my online account in 30 days (namely CU to CU transfer) and was later told that was not a service provided, I was referred to do online banking through my smartphone - yeah, that's great for keeping information secure - in order to the the transfers I needed but that also didn't work, and just today while I was attempting to do online banking and transfer EFT drafts from my old account to the GNWFCU acct, I was told my the online CSR that she could not provide me the routing number to the bank and I was referred to go to my "local branch" in order to get that information, which is a minimum of 1hr transit alone. I still have to drive to Raymond to work with ALASKA USA (the AWESOME CU), still have to drive to Aberdeen to do other banking, and I live in Westport. I feel as though I have done my best to attempt to utilize the "services" of GNWFCU, however I keep being denied reasonable - and also promised - said services. Additionally, I would just like to point out that refusing to do CU to CU transfers with current GNWFCU members, such as myself and my father, and making us drive over an hour out of our way to do so is also very detracting of the "services" GNWFCU claims to provide its members. I had planned on transferring all of my business over to GNWFCU as I got more settled, however at this point it looks like I will be utilizing it as little as possible and spend more of my time looking for a CU that ACTUALLY has customer (member) services in mind.

Feedback:

Have had a account here for a year now. Always great customer service, very friendly. Could definitely work on cutting down the line times at busy hours. They only run 1 to 2 cashiers even when it's busy. I've spent upwards of a hr in line. But other then that they have helped me build my credit score up, and always try to do there best at helping

Feedback:

My rating is dropping unfortunately. I have banked with them for years and recently, it seems that nobody on the floor is trained very well. I needed an account set up by the end of the week. Friday, I was told I needed a certain original hard copy, through the mail because their policy had changed. The brochure she handed me did not state that detail. I later found a digital copy and called them asking if it would work. We decided I would email it to them to verify. She confirmed I would get a response in an hour if it was sufficient. I did not. Saturday, I called and explained the situation. After a very long hold, I was told that the document would work. I told her I would be in before closing to set that up. When I got there, I was told that they need at least an hour to set up the account. I was once again turned away. It seems the account could have been set up on Friday with a bit of better communication. Neither time did they have more than two customers other than myself with a full staff. Despite the enormous inconvenience, the girls were pleasant. And I have had a wonderful experience in the past. I am writing this for training purposes, in hopes that my experience will increase in the VERY near future. And that this is not an indication of the service I will continue to be receiving. Thank you for your service.

Feedback:

Very disappointing place, only had an account there maybe a year. Dread having to go inside, have never had a good experience there. Plan on paying off my car loan early and closing that account .

Feedback:

I am extremely disappointed with the loan department. James and I asked specific questions as in will us having had your credit card only a few months be a problem what is the minimum credit score required is it a hard or soft inquiry? Having said questions answered satisfactorily we decided to go through with applying for a personal loan. First off we were told it is a soft inquiry so when I checked my credit score and it was down a few from the HARD inquiry I was a little annoyed now when we called to check on the loan and where told we were denied because of having the credit card for less then 6 months I was upset given we would not have applied had we been given accurate information.
