Client Review on Frankenmuth Credit Union

Feedback:

I requested Frankenmuth credit union to send me a new debit card as mine was getting old, and after about a month and a half of waiting no card ever arrived. I then called to have them send me another one (understanding that it could of got lost in the mail) and the gentlemen on the phone ended up cancelling my active card! After discovering this I called back to remedy the situation and was told I have to wait 5-10 business days and they can’t reactivate my card, saying “because I had them cancel my card” which I did not. I live across the country and with that card being my only access to my money I can’t currently withdraw or make any purchases period ( I.e. groceries and other essentials) . After dealing with this inexperienced individual I requested to talk to a manager, they confirmed I have to have a new card sent to me and there’s nothing they can do to immediately fix THEIR mistake. Well, it’s been 3 days so far without access to my funds and even after requesting overnight shipping of my new card it has still yet to arrive. They’re giving me no choice but to change institutions in the next few days if the card doesn’t arrive soon or I will literally start to go hungry. This is Unacceptable.
