Considering switching. Never can reach anyone. No one seems to be able to help you anymore or they just send you to voicemail. Expressed my views to a customer service agent and she just blew me off.

Fort Knox has some of the best interest rates in Danville. I opened an account right near closing time, and Kali was still very friendly and helpful. Employees are typically friendly and ready to help. Sometimes they also have a member appreciation day with free meals.

If I could give no stars I would.. I have banked with them for years so has my whole family.. I wondered why my family switched banks. I now know.. this bank has went down hill quick.. my account keeps getting froze because I was out of town and I had to call them several times a day and wait Everytime for over 45 mins to talk with someone.. one person will say one thing another something else.. they always wait til they close to freeze my account and now I am stuck waiting until the morning for them to unfreeze it and it shouldn't of been froze to begin with.. this has been going on for over a year now and worse the last 7 months.. I am stuck out of town because of this mess with my kids because they don't have an after hours number that you can speak with someone with a pulse, but there was no reason to even freeze the account. I am changing banks in the morning and I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone. Don't check your balance at an ATM or you will be charged or use debit or you are charged.. it's ridiculous... DONT BANK HERE.. AWFUL BANK.

The wife and I researched banks around Danville, and decided to visit to open an account.We were third in line to see one of the two people that could help us. When we set down to wait, someone else got up and left. After sitting a while, and observing all the employees wanting to chit-chat with each other and perform obvious "busy work", we left too.Sad, sad customer service.

i HAVE SPENT SO MUCH TIME ON THE PHONE WAITING TO TALK TO SOMEONE. WAS ON HOLD FOR 20 MINUTES AND NO ONE EVER ANSWERED. SUCH A SHAME. GUESS THEY DO NOT NEED ANY BUSINESS AFTER 4:00 PM ???????

The positive reviews are nothing but hogwash or either employees doing damage control, 2 auto loans, Headache from day 1, payed vehicle off 4yrs, 3 months early, 2nd vehicle financed and its 1st payment is due, Dealer still hasn't received payment from FKFCU and won't release title til paid, meanwhile temp tags expired, I paid both loans off 9 days before payment due date on second loan, Its been a nearly a month, liens not released, pay as you go has taken a electronic payment for 1st loan, ( 22 DAY AFTER PAYOFF ) call FKFCU, they can't help, says payment is through 3rd party and will be applied to FKFCU savings account, closing that ASAP, I came into this excited with a open mind, I was asked by FKFCU if I planned on moving / closing accounts , YES IMMEDIATELY !! If I could only 0 stars, I certainly would

Fort Knox has the worst service of any financial institution. There is no follow up on simple items and every phone call to customer service reveals details that could have been disclosed. There are several Credit Unions that offer better customer service and I will be moving my business.
