Super happy with this place. Very honest, very professional, and personable. I was in a money pinch after losing my mom, grandpa, and dad all within 18 months, not to mention needing to repair 2 houses to get them sold during that time frame. So, reluctantly, I decided to get a large loan on very high dollar solid gold graded coins. Initially, I was so nervous and skeptical that it was close to down right paranoia to allow this place to hold my coins....however, it was completely unwarranted. The owner, Hugh is top notch, and his staff are right there with him. I can't say thanks enough for how much this place helped me. I truly am appreciative for the kindness and professionalism, as well as the good prices when I purchase things! Lol Thanks SO much for being so great to me! You guys ROCK!!

wow read some reviews and seems like if customers are not happy they get tore down on their reviews. well i took a gold coin in there a few days ago and the clerk obviously dont know how to handle gold coins. he tryed to take this very expensive gold coin out of its government sealed casing. anyone who knows about coins knows that coins should not be touched let alone rubbed to test the gold content. i took my coin back and went to people who know how to handle coins. if he would of opened that coin it would of lost all value expect the low price they offer for gold. since they dont know how to handle coins i wonder how many coins they destroy and try to sell for full price. now i could care less if the owner gets on here to justifiy why they miss handle coins but its plain and simple they dont know the business. also it really dont sound professional when you trash people for being honest about their reviews. poor management. crappy pawnbroker.

Very reputable business, very friendly customer service, & very clean. I needed to get a loan and they do right by people. Pay your loan back on time and they remember you and understand your situation. Hence, they don't make you feel bad if you need a loan. Soon, I will have mine paid off and grateful to know they work with you.

Great place to do business more than far pricing on jewelry I was selling. Will be my go to shop in the future. Came back next day with the rest of my jewelry and once again was surprise by the offer. I don’t know why this isn’t the only Place to go when you need a little extra money in a pinch. Now there is a lot of pawn shop's on Fort street. However FortPawn is the only one I go to and trust with my stuff. They offer 90 day loans, and a generous grace period. And the store is not cluttered with junk like a lot of the other pawn shops/second hand shop's. They offer friendly and fast service and they have been around since before I was even born. I recommend them 100 percent!
