Client Review on FirstMerit Bank - Closed

Feedback:

Have had my account about a week and have 8 issues. I'm on hold with them now but not expecting much (update 1 hour lost, no resolution). Poor customer service, getting an attitude with me because their systems aren't accurate/misconfigured. Long telephone wait times, way more than "estimated". The auto call you back feature doesn't work, you just never hear from them again. Long story short my money is all being held for "processing and review". So here I am 6 days into this fiasco and I am unable to access 6 grand of my own money. I will not be duped by nice advertising again, this is not the kind of bank I want to be patronizing. All flash but no substance, service or value. Closing my account tomorrow.
