Client Review on First Coast Community Credit Union

Feedback:

So upset by the recent actions of this credit union. Our 89-year-old mother, who has been a member for over 15 years, passed away in late December. She had substantial funds in her account, and we began working with a probate attorney to settle the estate. Even after being presented with a death certificate, her account remains frozen. Because she had many credit accounts automatically withdrawn every month, the credit union is declining these withdrawals and charging the account a fee for each time one is attempted. We have explained the situation, but they refuse to work with us. Not only are we dealing with the grief of losing our mother, now her estate is being stolen by greedy, unfeeling folks unwilling to assist a family of a long time member. Disappointing and unfair are a few words that come to mind.
