Client Review on Experian Information Solutions, Inc

Feedback:

Unlike Transunion and Equifax, Experian neither encrypts data sent to them, have a security certificate, nor utilizes SSL technology. Experian commonly deals with sensitive customer personal information like social security numbers and date of birth. I have already contacted Experian by phone on August 23rd, 2016, to inform them of the omission. However, since I doubt anything will come of it, I'm contacting multiple organizations to spread knowledge of their negligence. With such security vulnerabilities, the risk of hacking and identity theft is much higher and compromises an individual's most sensitive of personal information. An organization that has access to such information should be held to a higher standard. As large as a company as it is, neither ignorance nor insufficient funds should be an excuse. Choosing to be negligible with such highly sensitive information is the same as choosing to be negligible with the privilege of the handling of such. Please spread the word. Otherwise, they may continue to "sweep this under the rug".
