Margarita was very helpful in getting the safe open after entering the code incorrectly many times. She was very calm through the whole process which put me at ease knowing it was an easy fix. The whole thing was very quick, took less than 10 mins. Great customer service!

Great products and even greater support from the staff, Donovan Sales has completely exceeded my expectations. An hour before closing the store, I called Steve who was out of town and asked for technical support. He has stayed with me over the phone and walked me through every single step needed to fix the issue... on a weekend night! The process took no less than 20min, and the instructions were easy to follow, and professional in tone.I was completely blown away with how helpful Steve is, as well as the other staff I get to interact with from time to time.If you are looking for reliable point-of-sale systems and the best technical support in town, Donovan Sales proves to be top choice!

Our company has a number of cafes, all of which use POS systems of various brands and capabilities. Several months ago, I went into this establishment with the intent of replacing all of our systems with single brand. It was at this point that I discovered the Jekyll and Hyde nature of this company. Though I had never done business with Donovan's in the past, I relied on their claim to have been around for over 100 years as leaders of the local scale and cash register industry. Let me assure you that in this case longevity is absolutely no indication of proficiency! Of course, when I first went in, they were friendly enough, though they kept trying to upsell me into a system that was more than we needed. I settled on a system (brand new) and provide all of our info for their use in programming. As I have been in the business for some time, and try to leave nothing to chance, I provided our information on a spreadsheet in such a way that programming should have been extremely easy. To my surprise, it was the easy "no-brainer" stuff that they programmed incorrectly, or their system processed incorrectly...I am speaking of things like a requirement to run a month end sales report, with GST broken out (simple right?) What we got was no ability to Z a month end so that sales continued to accumulate (made my accountant crazy!). As silly as that may sound, the system we received already had another company's sales information (presumably from testing) imbedded into the system before we got it. Furthermore, they couldn't get it out, and would not give us another system (we clearly got a demo model I guess). Anyhow, the nightmare has continued on to this day, they continue to get upset at my manager when the system breaks down. I have a half dozen more examples but you get the point. By the way, my bill for the privilege of patronizing Donovan's? Over $2400! Our latest issue is that the clock on our system is going backwards(...like Groundhog Day:). Creates another issue for the accountant. If you are considering a POS system for these guys, run the other way...fast. You are better off buying a system out of the trunk of a car from an ad you responded to on Craigslist...at least the support will be about the same. PS. Seriously, The Scale Shop appear to be a good alternative.

I used this company to remove a very old and very large safe from one of our offices. Margarita, who I spoke with a Donovan a few times was very friendly and took care of everything as expected. I didn't speak to James, which judging from the other review was probably a good thing. My experience with Donovan was positive.
