Probably one of the worst jobs I’ve ever worked for. Got to a point where I was so unhappy I had to leave. Got referred by a friend who quit right when I got hired because she hated the job. They fire people for no reason with no warning or anything and hold things against you that aren’t even your fault. Expect too much but the training sucks. They pull only your worse calls and hold that against you as somebody who never had experience at a bank before, Told me I was late but I was 20-30 minutes early every single day and was told I used “too much bathroom time” which was strange because I’ve never been reprimanded about that ever in my life. My first week on the job I was reminded that anything you do can get you fired, literally anything. And they go on 2 week firing sprees. Also at my desk the jokes were all about people almost getting fired. Great environment right? They also make the schedules so in advance you can barley request time off. The pay is great and so are the benefits but other than that the job was beyond miserable and the team leaders were rude as hell! Will not ever recommend the job or even think about returning to anything involving dcu!

DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE!! Bridge St. Lowell, MA Branch! Absolutely unreal how the “manager” (Katelyn Regan) here treated me today. And it wasn’t Ms. Flavia Cady either! Ms. Cady, as far as I’m concerned, is the sweetest soul of any bank I’ve been to. Now I’m reconsidering her attitude based on the attitude of the manager in her place today! Young girl probably 25-30 yrs old. It was crazy busy, parking was impossible and I waited for about 30 min be seen so naturally I was annoyed once called. I was addressing a fake check written out to my savings acct and another issue with an employment check. She was saying that my checking acct # was what DCU deposited the checks into, a # which I didn’t recognize and made clear I’m only familiar with the Acct # from my online banking! She got nasty and snappy and short! I said “Do you talk to all your members like this? I come to you for a service/solution and you treat me nasty?! You don’t deserve your job!” All she did was shrug her shoulders and had the AUDACITY to say “Well you should be down at the police station asking for help because that’s not what we do. You should know better than to give your acct info over the phone...” maybe so, but I’m not 10 years old, I’m the victim of fraud here and most importantly I pay you guys! Members pay you, way too much I see, because it makes you think you can be nasty to your customers! I’m a manager in fast food and have been for several years and this is UNACCEPTABLE! This girl doesn’t deserve her job, I don’t care how much you know! I’m sure if a blind person came in with a seeing eye dog she’d show the dog more respect than the human being...and that’s a shame! I’ll see to it she’s reported!

Horrible Customer Service in the Loans Dept. My sister and Nephew dealt with a woman last name Flood she declined my nephews app for a car loan due to 30 days on the job , I called her to ask a question as to why it was declined and she Stated that it was due to him only being at his job 1 month I asked if she knew he had a job for the last 2 years did she ask him before declining his loan she Stated to me she was to busy to answer my questions and hung up on me , I called back to ask her who her Manager was and said she was to busy with actual bank members I stated I was a member and sent them in and she said the Manager couldn't come to the phone , I guess this is how they treat customers , she didn't realise I was a DCU Member and treated me and my family like dirt , I will steer people away from this bank and let them know how Miss Flood treats and handles consumers that have questions..Rude behavior I honestly think she is in the wrong business.
