Like Hans, I have also been a member since I was 12yrs old. My experience exactly parallels his. Del Norte Credit Union Customer Service, in the mortgage dept. in particular, is horrible. They rely far too much on a bad phone system, and “contract” services. The result is a lot of finger pointing, wasted time, and precious little service. Sadly, they really were a first rate institution a dozen years ago. No more. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

There are a long list of complaints I have two many to list but these are the ones that made me write a review. The first is, it is impossible to ever find someone at there desk passed the initial front coustomer assistants. If you need something quickly dont count on that either, you will be forwarded along from desk to desk to attempt to get ahold of someone who may help. Secondly asside from that issue forget about doing any buisness with out having to go in person to the bank. If you are a single person who runs you own buisness regularly you will have to take time off work just to get anything done asside from the things you can do at the ATM. I asked to speek to a loan officer for financing with them for a recreational vehicle im still waiting for a loan officer to call me back its been over a month, and I already purchased the vehicle I wanted financing for and still never got a call back. I have been a member for over 20 years . This was my first bank/credit union. Im dissapointed in the services sadly to say. I try to stay local having other accounts, I will be forced to take my busness else where.. The tellers a great, the people giving information, are great; if they need managment guidance to compleat tasks that should be done quickly and they along with the coustomer are left waiting for managment to give approval, guidance or information. Never have I reviewed a financial institution/bank/or credit union until today. DISAPOINTED.

Beyond disappointed with the service! My husband and I are mortgaged and have a vehicle financed with them and have to constantly babysit the account to ensure they post the payment to the right account. Which rarely happens despite my designation on the memo AND a post it pasted to the check as to which account the payment is for. I guess people don’t know how to read. Tired of the constant calls to the bank to fix this issue.

DNCU has a terrible online banking system. They don't show debit charges in a timely manner and it takes almost a full week for them to accept transfers from other credit unions. They don't show you your real balance so they can charge you in over draft fees.

I have had an account at this institution since I was 11. My account back then was a simple savings account. I learned about saving through that account. I am now 54. Back then and for most of that time this institution was doing business as the Los Alamos Credit Union. For decades this institution had great customer service. In the last 10 years, and since it changed its name to Del Norte Credit Union, customer service at this institution has been abandoned and replaced with rudeness. Maybe it has gotten too big to value any particular customer. Maybe it is the new culture of this institution. In any event I am looking for another Credit Union with which to do business.

Wow. I wish I could rate this bank one star. I have never written a review before but after everything I have dealt with with them it has come to this. I deposited my PAYCHECK on Thursday the 13th via the mobile app. Monday rolled around and the check had still not been deposited into my account despite being authorized according to the app. I called their call center that day and spoke with a woman who was so incredibly rude I can only hope that I never have to deal with her laziness again. I sent an email about the issue on Monday... it is now Friday-- nothing. I went into a branch on my lunch break and was told that the check would be released today (Friday) due to a 7 business day hold. Still not sure why the app does not inform their members about holds, but rather holds the money with seemingly no reason. The teller informs me that the check will be released on 7/21/17. FOR A PAYCHECK?? Not a personal check, not an insurance check. A paycheck. Incredible. Regardless, what can I do? I wait until today and still the check has not been released. I call the call center twice and explain to them the situation. The first girl I spoke with was unwilling to help and the second one put me on hold to talk with her manager. I find out that the check will now not be released until MONDAY. WOW. Do not use this bank. Incredibly horrible customer service and clearly not well trained staff.

Sukriti Yudov has to be one of the worst and rudest employees of the bank. Should not make promises to customers and than back out and also should reply to customers. I would seek other banks before working with this employee or bank.

Loaned my daughter double what the car was worth on her first loan. Then sued her for the difference. These people are not honest at all!!
