I’ve been a member fo ten years and their customer service is simply horrible. I dread calling with a question but going to the location is even worse. They will hold a check from a government agency, a state university- the post office? it totally doesn’t matter if it’s out of state and over $700 they do it automatically. When asking a question they repeat themselves robotically-getting a thoughtful answer is expecting way too much from this bank. True, I never experience fees but good luck if you get a check from University of Alabama....or any state for that matter.

Bank elsewhere! They are worse than the big banks with fees! They run your credit when you open a checking account for an "Overdraft Line of Credit" but they charge you $25 every time you use it instead of charging interest. So why put an inquiry on my credit report for that? Their banking system is TERRIBLE! Transactions are not posted timely or correctly, well CREDIT transactions aren't. They'll debit your account IMMEDIATELY though. So many fees for it to be a credit union. This was my second time giving them a try but now I'm officially done! On top of the fees is TERRIBLE customer service. You have been warned!

Horrible customer service! Would not recommend getting Auto Loan from this bank! Paid off loan, thought all was good. After waiting a couple weeks for the title to come in, I called to ask where it was or when would it be mailed. They said they would not send title due to having an open/inactive savings account of $11. Was charged a $10 transaction fee to close out account. So I paid $10 to get $11. Have no clue why they didn't tell me this in the first place when I paid the loan off to begin with. So if I had not called I guess I would still be waiting on my title. Their rules and regulations there just don't make any sense and on top of that they are rude and lazy when asking questions/getting answers.

Nothing but scammers out for money. My payroll is automatically posted to my savings each month which forced me to request an online transfer of funds between my savings to my checking account. The last time I did this the "accounts summary" page showed the funds transferred, but when they failed to actually transfer, the bank charged me nearly $100 in "overdraft" and "transfer" fees to take MY money out of MY savings account and move it over to MY checking account to cover the bills I had paid. They basically charged me to use my own money, then refused to put the money back in my account when I showed them the print screen showing the funds as "available." What they told me was "you can't go by the funds available showing in your account overview until you get a confirmation email stating your funds transferred."Are you kidding me? So they have a computer glitch, charge me to use my own money, and then tell me the account balances on my accounts overview page on my online banking page can't be trusted. What kind of bank is this??

Use to best the best place to bank, not anymore. After being a member for as long as there has been a CSFCU I have been a member, will not be one after tomorrow. They have lost the friendly customer service they use to be known for. Time for a change!
