They keep closing their branches-closest one to my house is a 30 minute drive. If there were more atm locations it wouldnt be so inconvenient. Many times i’ve been told one thing when calling into the 800 number only to be told the opposite at a branch. Called customer service 800 number who said to set up a beneficiary with the type of accounts i had i would need to go to a branch. Went in on my day off to the nearst location to my house which is now 30 minutes away because capital one keeps closing their branches and when i got there was told to call the capital one 800 number . This is the second time in a week i’ve been told one thing when calling into the 800 number only to be told the opposite at a branch. I complained about this on the spot saying the location at the domain is closer to my house but i had to drive all this way because that location is useless, they cant do anything for you: create a cashiers check, take a deposit, nothing. Its atms with a coffee shop and they call it a branch. He then said i’d have to call the branch i opened up the account with & i informed him that was one of the many youve recently closed. People are not trained well there, its a waste of time and energy. Bank where they have more branches and atms and a higher interest rate on savings accounts.
