Jim and everyone at APM were absolutely awesome. My family and I just bought our first home a few months ago, and everyone we talked to told us to prepare for the worst in going through the mortgage process. However, I can honestly say that Jim and his team really made the whole thing quite easy. They managed every piece of the process flawlessly, and we were able to get the home we wanted at the right time and the right price with no hiccups. I would absolutely recommend everyone I know to get their mortgage done with Jim.

I was referred to Jim and his team at Bay Equity by my realtor (so thankful for that referral). I hit them with a double whammy; very little knowledge about the home buying process AND I was a first time home buyer!!! That didn't make a difference to Jim. He walked me through every step and his assistant (Christa) explained everything to me as we went. They got to know me, my situation, what I needed, and treated me like a human being, rather than another statistic. I ran into quite a few obstacles the prevented me from getting my loan and I found myself doing everything within my power to make this happen. I also felt very supported because Jim was doing the same and putting in hours on my behalf to find a way to make it happen. I was regretfully informed that it wasn't going to happen, I would have to try again in a few months (which meant losing the home that I wanted), and even received a letter of denial in the mail. It was out of my hands at that point and I the same day I was going to throw in the towel, Jim sent me an email saying there was a possible restructure for my loan. He had found a way to get me my loan. He personally called me the day everything was finalized and told me that I was officially a home owner and my furbaby (my puppy) and I would have a new home!!! I closed on my first home last week. I can't thank Jim and his team enough for what they were able to do for me :) I am beyond thankful for everything Jim did for me and all the ways in which he went above and beyond, instead of just giving up on me and my complicated financial situation. I would recommend Jim and his team to anyone.

I just closed on my first home. Jim, Christa, Laura, Randy, his entire team is fantastic. I was extremely nervous going into this process and they never let me down. Not only did they help me through every step of the process but I was able to close 10 days early and they even gave me helpful tips on how to make home ownership as easy and affordable as possible. I would highly recommend Jim and Bay Equity!

If you are having trouble qualifying, he will show you clear steps to follow so that you can qualify and show you how to avoid the pitfalls eager homebuyers often fall into so that you do not thwart your progress. Jim is, hands down, my favorite mortgage guy, bar none!
