Feedback:

I have had a banner bank account for 3 years now. I have not tried to get a loan from them but do have a rewards credit card with a low fixed rate which makes me pleased with the service and products that i have used to date. I also use the online banking....

Feedback:

This bank SUCKS, with a capital... SUCKS. Their cards have always been declined with cash in account at over 95% of the places I'd try to use it, is enough for me to close my account I opened this February.

In the process of building a new home. Other reviewers are telling the truth. Would not recommend them at this point, wasn’t much choice on lenders for new construction. They don’t like to release funds to pay contractor and make it difficult to get your own money out of checking. Update: Still having issues transferring loan over to conventional loan. They still can't get their numbers right, have not even sent us a bill for our next payment but require payment without them sending a bill!? No online payment options yet, online payment at a branch! Won't let us pay our Taxes and Insurance separately even through we have plenty of equity. I really should change to 1 star. 😠

Got a rookie loan officer and all i got was the expense of an appraisal to show for it.home worth 395k and wanted a 188k mortgage..they couldnt make it happen

I purchased my home in 2017 and it's been a cluster. They gave me the wrong amount needed at closing so I got a refund of about $1,500 after we closed. I paid $500 to expedite the assessment and that shaved a whole 2 days off the 40 day process (Banner did eventually refund my $500). They agreed to credit my checking account $200 for their clumsy handling of my loan but then decided to send me $200 worth of gift cards to stores I don't shop at. I recently changed my insurance company and notified them ahead of time, then took the next day off to deposit refund check from previous insurer and ended up having to talk to them 4 times to get it straightened out. Then Banner sent me a letter a week later saying I needed to deposit money into my mortgage escrow account for my homeowners insurance. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing out in Walla Walla. Nice people tho.

Awful experience they do not know what they are doing, will drag you through their inexperience.
