Feedback:

Absolutely terrible customer service. If you are a property manager and are considering them or their software, BEWARE. You will lose good quality tenants by the dozens! If you are asked to use their service to get an apartment, refuse. They don't answer the phones and have no idea what's going on. STAY AWAY!

What we love about AppFolio is they adapt to change. They are consistently growing, improving, and altering their product to meet the consumer needs. They listen to our suggestions and recommendations in each individual market. We have used several property management software platforms and out of them all we would highly recommend AppFolio!! #iheartappfolio

Appfolio used to be cutting edge but now have fell behind. They have ceased listening to their customers, customers like my company that has been with them from the get go. Recently trying to force feed insurance to our tenant with out consulting us as paying clients. I’m tired of not being able to integrate other helpful software not owned by them. They won’t work with my outside Website developer so that my website works in a fluid manor with my PM software. Instead they want you to buy in to their subpar websites they build. There are many holes in this dam. ***update to review. The 1 star review I left was unfair and now it’s a 3 Star. I actually do believe they are a good company. They have been revamping some things that they do. Although open API would be nice, hopefully they make that change. But there is a lot to like as well.

I can’t say enough about how much I love working at AppFolio! It is the best work environment I have ever been in. Everyone is so helpful and positive so it makes coming to work very enjoyable. By far the best decision I have made has been accepting a position at AppFolio.

I use AppFolio to pay my rent online and submit work orders - it couldnt be easier, the site is so user friendly. In addition the communication with our property manager has increased and we are able to get issues taken care of quickly, all with a few clicks of my mouse :)

I appreciate having an auto pay set up on my rent so I never miss a payment. It’s convenient that our property managers can text us to let us know updates on maintenance requests. It is awesome that we can submit maintenance requests with attachments and photos without having to call.

My property management company has used AppFolio for almost a decade and our company growth is greatly attributed to AppFolio. The software is great for management companies, but also for our clients and perhaps most importantly our tenants. Our tenants can see their balance, make rent payments, and report maintenance issues. We also connect to our tenants via text and e-mail. A great company who has a great product.

We have been using Appfolio for over 5 years now and it was by far the best move we made. Being a web based system we have the flexibility to work anywhere with an internet connection. All the features we need are built into the system and Appfolio is constantly providing updates and new features. I could not imagine being in this profession without them.

My company has been an AppFolio customer for over 6 years. Since the beginning, I've found their customer service to be outstanding. We don't send in a lot of help requests, but the ones we send are responded to promptly. I've found their product development team to be very interested in my point of view and experience, and I've been able to give feedback on in-process feature changes. Additionally, there is not upcharge for ACH payments or extra functionality. It's all included in the software. I'm very pleased with the software and service, and I'm excited to see what features they add next.
