Client Review on American Eagle Bank

Feedback:

Tried to make a loan payment online with this bank and was unable to due to their not having this function available. I called so that I could make a payment over the phone using my card or check. I was told that there would be a fee to make a payment. I hung up, thought about it and called back and spoke to someone else named Margaret to ask if there was a possibility to waive the fee since I would have to drive 5 towns over just to make a payment. I let her know that the function online was not available. Not a nice person. She stated that there would be a fee and that I could speak to someone in the credit department since they would be the ones who decide if they can waive that fee. I was connected to Ruth who obviously spoke to Margaret since she already knew what my request would be. Of course, not very nice customer service either. It makes no sense to call a bank to make a payment of over 450.00 and then be charged a 25.00 fee for making that payment to them!!!! She gave other options to me but none of them that would allow me to make the payment ASAP. My payments have never been late not would this one have been. I was hoping for better customer service. I did not pick this bank to use for a loan, this is the bank the car dealer used. I will do all I can to figure out a way not to have to deal with this bank in person or have to call them. Can't wait to be done with these payments and out of their system.
