Feedback:

They have made me want to do business with them more frequently, because I have had such wonderful experiences. Thank you!!!

Feedback:

Great place to get a car loan but terrible place to work. They pay 9.25 and hour when you start out and it’s a max of 4% increase each year, if you’re lucky. That’s like .50 cents maybe... don’t let them find out you’re actively looking for other employment, they won’t go to the next disciplinary action. They just fire you.UPDATE: 10/12/18Made the mistake of getting a credit card with them, trying to close my account there and I can’t since they’re doing some kind of conversation, definitely an Old/out-of-date credit union. Can’t wait to close my account here finally.

THE WORST ! 💩

Feedback:

Just hung up the phone after being on hold for 21 minutes.

Feedback:

Something fishy is going on at 1st Community. I heard straight from a director that they are changing there rules so that anyone who wants to run for the board has to get a huge petition filled first. The current board will be exempt from this. And next time there is an opening, whoever the board handpicks will also be exempt. this sounds like corruption to me!! A credit union is supposed to be member owned!! This looks like a small group trying to rig it so they have no accountability for OUR moneyThere was also a rumor at the yearly meeting that the managers want to drop federal deposit insurance. Im taking my money away from this mess.

Feedback:

Great service and experienced caring staff. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a credit union or looking to finance a car.

Feedback:

Really bad customer service and the people here are rude and unprofessional

Feedback:

I know that financial institutions check credit when an account is opened. However, that credit check should NOT be a hard hit. Experian notified me that my credit had been checked for an installment loan, thereby lowering my score. I simply opened a small savings acct and a money market account and I feel that should NOT lower my credit score. I plan to buy or lease a vehicle within the next 6 months and wanted my score to be great. I'm very disappointed that this happened. I'm pretty sure there are other innocent account openers that don't realize their credit has been affected. I will say that someone from the office has contacted me about this, which I appreciate.

Feedback:

No recommendation. After having an account with Gulf Credit Union and the 1st Community for FIFTY SIX (56) years, 1st Community decided that holding a savings account where they were paying minimum interest needed a $5 per month service charge. Legal theft. Don't do business with these people. There are a lot of financial institutions that are trustworthy and this isn't one.

Feedback:

Terrible service one thing after another that they couldn’t seem to get done. Don’t even try to make a phone call to the loan officer they won’t answer
