Feedback:

Service has never been great, in person and over the phone. On multiple occasions have important details been missed by a representative of this branch causing me to make multiple trips to this location. I decided to close my account after banking with them for 6 years. I was informed by a Zions bank rep, I may close it in person or if there is a 0 balance and no activity on the account, it will automatically close within 30-45 days. There was in fact a zero balance and absolutely no activity on the account for well over 45 days. That was over 6 months ago. I found out today, the account remained open and a charge just went through 22 days ago which no one informed me of until today. I paid the charge and then called Zions bank to confirm why the account never closed. The first rep (after being disconnected multiple times) tells me they cant see the payment and need to check if the company I just paid per their notice was a "Scam". I asked if the charge might just be pending and if it's even possible for them to see a payment right away? The rep didn't know and then informed me there is a $5 fee for everyday the balance is not paid. I asked if I would still be charged these fees if the payment is just pending? The rep still didn't know. Her suggestion? See if a fee gets applied tomorrow to know for sure if I'll get more fees. Eventually, a Supervisor was able to confirm it was not a scam, I actually paid the right people and any fees incurred while the payment is pending will not be charged. I talked with at least 4 different people, was disconnected about 3 times and on hold for the majority of each call to get this information. I have now paid double the original charge on the account due to fees. The first rep was also kind enough to inform me they will do nothing about these fees when I NEVER EVEN ASKED to be compensated! All of this for an account that I was assured would be closed over 6 months ago.

Feedback:

My father banked with Zions so when I needed banking I started banking where he banked. However they don’t treat people like they once did. It’s profits first and at the expense of regular checking account holders like you and me. They charged me $161 dollars in fees in less than a week for have -1.00 overdraft fee. I hate Zions Bank with a passion because of their attitude towards customers and their unethical rates they charge for being overdrawn. The worst part is I’ve talked to the manager about it and he said there was nothing he could do, which means headquarters is the issue. I am closing my account and moving to Mountain America we’re they treat people well because they know people are worth more than just good business.

Feedback:

Personally I just cancelled my account with Zion, but if you need to go to one choose any other one other than this one. Terrible service and cant explain nothing!!

Feedback:

I'm not sure if it's this Zions or all Zions but we recently had our worst banking experience ever at this branch. My wife's account accidentally got overdrawn by one small mistake on her end and Zions enforced an $8.00 a day charge until it was brought current. We tried to explain what happened and they just said it was her responsibility, which I agree, but a daily charge, come on. Talk about kicking someone while they're down. Statements come out monthly and how they can get away with a daily charge is beyond me. Of course we took care of it right when we found out. I asked my other banks if they had a daily charge and they said no and were astonished zions charged a daily charge. Unfortunately they would only waive $27 out of close to $200 in fees. I would avoid this fee chasing bank if I were you.
