Feedback:

Tried to charge me $5 for a check from their bank for not having an account with them then blatantly lied saying it was cheaper then other places, I'll take my business somewhere else thanks....

I see others have had issues with this bank but I wanted to add my perspective. My wife and I owned a home in Farmington when I worked for a well known tech company in the SLC area. We move back here to the SF Bay area about 9 years ago. I mention this because I never changed banks- my wife did but I stayed with Zions and this branch is where I opened my account with Zions and if an issue pops up and it needs a branch not a general CS line this is who I work with. I didn't switch my accounts because this bank is awesome. There are no locations here in Nor Cal but that is fine I do most of my banking online or via ATM. If I call the branch or general CS number I always get exceptional service. They are respectful, courteous and smart. Prior to Zions I was an SVP at a big US based bank and before that I helped start a popular FinTech company. The point being I am well versed in banking and financial services. I no longer use that bank and I do have a credit union account but my direct deposit and all other important issues go through Zions. Why? Because they have always provided me with exceptional hassle free service and while I am just a drop in the bucket so to speak it is one way for me to show them some loyalty. Anyhow, thank you Zions for helping me take care of what is obviously one of the more aspects of an adult's life- their financial needs. I trust this bank and most importantly I know that no matter who I talk to they are going to treat me well and work with me through any issue I may have.

Customer Service is very poor. They need to come up with a new slogan since the current one does not even resemble their actual outlook on customers.

Worst bank I have ever been too. I was a loyal customer for 10 years and they randomly started charging me for services that have always been free, and no other bank has ever charged me for. The tellers were very unfriendly and the manager was the worst one. I closed all my accounts and moved to US Bank and am much happier. Again, I want to emphasize that this is the worst bank I have ever been to.
