Feedback:

I have been with this credit union since the age of 6. I have never had any major issues with my account until recently, which is because I'm in the process of switching jobs. After talking with the bank about a credit card amount that was late and making smaller payments on it. The credit union then took the whole 17 dollars in my account that I had in my account so that I could get gas to go to work. Now I had to miss a day of work and won't be able to pay the bank my 150 I was planning on. After talking to literally 5 different people about this issue no one could help and instead all I got was a bunch of people who explained that I had to pay the bill (which I clearly know and was in the process of paying) one person told me they couldn't find who had drawn our the money, another told me it was an employee mistake amd the last told me that it was my fault. Needless to say don't waste your time going to this bank because they will screw you over just to get their late fees.

Feedback:

The staff is friendly and most of them are helpful. The only problem I have had with them is the loan department. It's pretty sad that you have to call them to find out the results of your loan, even tho they tell you that they will give you a call. Also the loan officers will not talk you about the loan, they have the person who answers the phone tell you what the out come of their decision is. I thought that was very unprofessional.

Don’t like the hours, don’t like the hassle they give when you ask for your WHOLE account number. Every time I ask them for my number they always are giving me the last 5 digits so when anywhere I work ask me to do an online direct deposit form I can’t fill it out because I’m not always accessible to my whole account number. I just don’t like it anymore.

Weird hours, no communal ATMs so you'll always have to pay fees to withdraw money, and now the broken online login system?! I've had an account for over a decade here and was keeping it open as a backup just in case but it's not even worth the constant hassles anymore. I can't wait to take out the rest of my money and close the account for good.

March 31st update: Finally the site has been updated and online banking is working. Their hours are still a bit off for my schedule but now with online services working I haven't had any issues here and will up my review.Haven't really used my account yet since I'm waiting on my first check to go into it, but aside from that the hours don't work too well with my schedule (late night job) and I really don't get why they're closed Wednesday. I've also had no success with their online banking. Can't seem to sign up for it despite my info being correct, and when I called the main number (which the site says is for online banking support as well), I had to wait 10 minutes just to be told they can't help me and I need to go to the branch. I'll see how things go once I start using my card/account but I'm already looking into different CUs :/

Online experience is terrible. Mobile app is ages behind. But they charge you $35 the second your account goes under. I work for a living. And have several accounts with them. So if my account goes under $0.95, they charge $35 instead of email/calling/text. No grace. And they won’t pull from another account the <$1 you go over.

I highly recommend Wayne Westland Federal Credit Union. Been in the community since 1954. WWFCU is member owned and the staff and management treat all with exceptional service. Better rates, better service, better join.
