Client Review on Vantage Credit Union

Feedback:

Tried to deposit a rebate check in the ATM. Something went wrong and check was held in machine. Went inside branch at around 2:30 p.m. on 12/7/17 to speak to someone. Brunette customer representative behind counter told me to just info and approximate check amount on sticky note and she would see funds were deposited. I made sure to explain the situation of the check being held inside ATM, so she knew. I remembered this week to check account to verify deposit only to discover it was never done. Just called customer service number to locate check and get money deposited. Agent took down my contact info. He informed me that I should have filled out form not a sticky note. How am I supposed to know this??? I want manager to contact me. I am one very upset customer. Finally deposited check after notifying customer service, but it did take almost all day to see deposit AND many weeks later than originally told. Also, not a happy camper with the $5.00 monthly charge "aggregate balance fee." Seems like dirty business when we originated our mortgage with VCU only to have them sell our loan to an out of state company, then VCU has the audacity to turn around and charge us an aggregate balance fee, saying "You do not use our loan programs." Oh and then they add, "You can avoid this monthly fee if you refinance your mortgage (that we just sold)." Seriously???!! Come January 1st we will be taking our business elsewhere IF VCU does not stop charging us this aggregate balance fee AND refunding us the monies they have already taken from our account for such dirty business tactics. Also, we have our auto and home insurance through VCU, guess that will need to change as well. Horrible especially considering others are offering us money to come to their credit unions and banks. The only reason we haven't changed banking institutions was because we have been loyal customers of VCU since they were the Educators Union. But since they don't care about loyalty, guess we shouldn't either.
