i have live in this area for 5 years both ladies in this check cashing place is very nasty an as some of the post were saying they is rude won;t cash certain people check .. an they treat certain people like there crimminals. they are very very racist in that place. it needs to be shut down or fire the staff

Absolutely Terrible. This place is not far from where I live and not once was I able to cash a check Her, but today I went in and not only did the woman toss the check back after only looking at it for merely a second, but she wouldn’t explain why she couldn’t or wouldn’t cash my check that wasn’t even a month old. But after looking at another check which I received today she simply told me I would have to go elsewhere. Elsewhere being David’s Checking, which is a few train stops away. Not only was I at her window for less than a second, she turned me away without an explanation and told me to go to another checkings establishment, which was out of my way. Now if your going to deny someone the child support money needed to help provide for someone child the least you could do is 1) attempt to do your job instead of barely looking at the check and 2) give a decent or at least half ass explanation to why you won’t cash it .

The same horrible lady has been their every time giving any reason not to cash my checks. I have received the same terrible customer service everything I go. They need to fire who they have their.

This place is not so bad. I usually go in and I am in and out. I love that I can pay my utility bills there and it gets posted right away. However, one day I went in there to do something (it escapes me) but for whatever reason I either couldn't get it done because I needed to have a certain amount of money or something. I think I was trying to put money on a pre-paid card. Anyway, before I could say Ok let me increase the amount, the girl behind the counter basically shoved the money back to me under the window with a tone I didn't like. She was very interested in getting back to her yogurt and chuckled at my aggravation. I wrote the manager a letter and never heard back a peep from them. Not sure if anything was done about it, but just remember this is a place in the hood where respect for patrons are not ideal. Clearly training in customer service is not something they do here. So, as long as you don't get into any drama there you should be fine.
