On 6/25 I visited the Value Bank atm as I have done many times before to withdraw money from my SMIOne child support card to pay bills. After inserting my card and making the selection to withdraw money from the atm responded with "we're sorry....your transaction has been cancelled". I immediately checked my account and found the money had been withdrawn. I entered the bank and explained what happened. A gentleman bank teller informed me that they had already been informed about the atm by a few customers. Since there were 5 employees that I could see with one person in line inside the bank and 1 car outside I asked why they hadn't posted anything and demanded my money back. An employee by the name of Ashley then approached me and explained I would have to dispute it through my financial institution which I called right then and there. I was told I would not be able to dispute anything in pending status. Ashley then had me fill out there dispute paperwork and informed me she would call me the following day 6/26/18. After speaking with Ashley twice on 6/26 she told me there was nothing she could do and it would take 7-10 business days to rectify on their end. After speaking to my financial institution I found that on the short end it would not only take 10-45 business days but I have to compose a letter and fax it to them. This has caused great distress and misfortune for me and my family not to mention horrific problems with my phone company, work, and rent as I was pulling money to pay bills. All I wanted to do was pull MY money out using an atm that I have used many times before. Even though the mistake is on their end my family and I are the ones to suffer. Not only do I not have two pennies to rub together I can't even buy the toilet paper we desperately need.That is not an exaggeration and is only one example of the position this has put me in. I didn't do anything wrong but yet feel like a criminal. People should not be treated this way! Institutions and businesses have been getting away with this type of nonsense for years. Well this time I'm not going to allow you guys to get away with putting my family in this predicament all because your employees took their time to post something regarding the atm not working properly. Here it is 6/29 and I still don't have my money. In the age of technology I call bs on taking this long anyway.

Great staff on their banking side. DON'T sign up for their credit card services, by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They are selective on who they will block fraudulent charges from on your bank account, so be aware.
