I recently secured my mortgage for an investment property from US Mortgage Capital and the process was fairly smooth and I was able to close on time. The reason for my 3 star rating vs 5 star (if I have to just rate them based on the process) is that I ended up paying at least $1100 more in the form of a loan initiation fees on a mortgage of low one hundred thousand whereas multiple online mortgage companies such as Amerisave, Aimloan etc do not charge origination fees or give a credit of the same amount if no points are purchased. I was promised by US Mortgage Capital that they would match the rates of any of the other online companies and if they can't they would pay a fees for not being able to match. Hence I got all my preapprovals from them and when it was time to secure the mortgage, US Mortgage Capital conveniently refused to match the online closing costs (including origination charges). By that time I was already way ahead in the process with them and did not have enough time left to start the process again with another mortgage company but I learned my lesson and am going to look elsewhere for my next mortgage. So, please shop around before committing to this company*****************************Based on the response from the mortgage provider, I am revising my rating to 2 stars. The mortgage provider may have had the price match policy listed on their website and in one of the disclosures but this was never ever mentioned to me when I had called the loan officer and requested to match the price with other lenders on the day I had an accepted offer. During my phone conversation, the loan officer clearly mentioned that they cannot match the price and I would need to pay the $1100 origination fees. There was no mention about me getting a loan estimate. Had this been explicitly asked, it would have taken my few minutes of my time to get a loan estimate and it is a no brainer that anyone would have done that when there are $1100 at stake that too for a loan of low one hundred thousand dollars. Now they are making me responsible for not providing a written loan estimate and as a reason for not doing the price match, expecting me to follow the policy written in a disclosure.

They were promt throughout the entire home-buying process and assisted us hand-in-hand the entire way, as we were first-time buyers, finally closing on a home on 1/30/17 in New Jersey. I recently refinanced my primary home mortgage with US Mortgage Capital. Robert was excellent to work with - lightning fast communication. He offered me a very competitive rate with basically no out of pocket cost. Robert, Shaindy and the staff at US Mortgage Capital made sure to answer my questions quickly and were on point making sure the refinance went through smoothly with no hiccups. I highly recommend using them.

We refinanced our home for the second time in two years with US Mortgage Capital; today -- June 23, 2016 -- we just completed the second refinance. The best thing about this process is that it is a very well oiled, efficient process. From beginning to end it took about 3 weeks, and US Mortgage proved to be exceptionally efficient at getting things done and moving the application along. Our contact was polite, professional, and went out of character a time or two to really provide us genuine helpful guidance; he had our interests at heart. Very commendable! Between our two refinances with US Mortgage we've saved $1200 a month! Thank you so much, Robert!It would be nice if there we less paperwork, fewer emails and attachments, as it seemingly rained emails and docs down upon us for a good 3 weeks. US Mortgage is not at fault here, but rather the industry itself is simply out of control when it comes to paperwork and docs. Save our trees and reform this industry!All being said, this process was pain-free and worth the effort. Five-Star effort.

My experience working with US Mortgage Capital, was pretty much flawless. They were prompt in getting everything done, but also detailed. They caught some items that were missed from my original loan. Great team, professional and really made this re-finance smooth, great experience. I also look forward to their free service of monitoring my loan in case rates drop, and would definitely work with them again.

I've worked with Robert and his staff now on two separate occasions. Both times went very smoothly and quickly. They were always there to assist me with my transaction, answered my questions at seemingly all hours of the day (and night). I originally went with them as they quoted the lowest mortgage rates I could find for my home purchase. I came back for the refinance because of the service (the low rates helped a bit too!). Shaindy and Robert were fantastic! My loan started just when the new TRID rules came into play. My builder didn’t appear to understand the ramifications involved, but Shaindy and Robert were spot on. They walked everyone thru the process and smoothed some bumps and hills along the way. I would highly recommend using them for your next loan.
