I've sold bulk silver in the amount of $15,000 - $20,000 to this business in the past 6 months or so. They are a typical trader so I certainly did not get top dollar. Completely understandable. However, I came in recently to get an opinion on a few collector coins to check the potential value on them. I was met with a very rude attitude and the gentleman was completely dismissive. When I asked if someone could take a look, I was told "or you can go to school in Colorado for 5 years to become a grader"... Mind you, this was 5 minutes of his time and I have probably made this business thousands in profits from my sales to them (estimate). The conversation got worse from there and I finally walked out. I will never bring my gold and silver to this place again. This one person ruined my experience. All past experiences have been positive. Super rude. We live in different times now...

Upstate is the most professional in the area. I highly recommend. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is the store is in Fayetteville, but it is worth the drive.

Upstate Coins doesn't really do anything with stamp collections, but rare coins and jewelry they do know their stuff and I really like them.

Coin and Gold of Fayetteville NY was an amazing experience. I was greeted with courtesy and respect beyond my expectations. Dave was knowledgeable and kind when reviewing and advising me in regards to a piece of diamond jewlery I was looking to have appraised and sell. I found Dave's honesty and professionalism refreshing and valuable. Although he did not buy my piece he gave me direction and advice to provide me with the best possible outcome. I am forever great full for our encounter. I must say that I would surely not have believed that all proprietors of a business of this type would be so interested in my best interstate over making a purchase for business deal. I highly recommend working with Dave for all your coin and gold needs. Integrity and honesty far beyond expectation.

I’ve been doing business with Upstate Coin & Gold for several years now. I first came to them with a coin collection that was passed down to me and wasn’t happy with previous quotes I had received. Upstate not only offered me more money, but made it easy to roll some of that money in to bullion for me to pass down to my children.
