We signed up with this company as we were looking for better customer service and better rates. So far we are happy with our salesperson and the processing with UMS, and seems to be cheaper then our previous service company.

QUICK TIP, FOR ANYONE READING THIS ASKING IF THEY CAN SET UP AN APPOINTMENT TO SIGN U UP FOR THEIR SERVICES. ASK THEM THE NAME OF THEIR COMPANY, ADDRESS OF THE COMPANY, WHAT FLOOR OR SUITE THEY ARE LOCATED IN, AND FINALLY A NUMBER U CAN REACH THEM DIRECTLY TOO IF U HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. THEYLL CALL YOU AN IDIOT AND HANG UP. BUT TRUST ME THEY WILL NEVER CALL AGAIN

I sold my business last September, and referred United Merchant Service to the new buyer, just to give this business to my sales person. The sales person thanked me for the referral. But he did not close my account after the business sale, and UMS kept charging me for monthly fees. In January, UMS withdrew $500 from my bank account, and they said that this is because I had not returned the credit card machine. I left a message with rental department and asked the sales man to call me back. They are not calling me back. This is a big nuisance, to no longer trust the company who has access to my bank account. Stay away from this company.

如果你被骗了,请看这里!大家绝对不要在这里开卡机,他们恶心的3年合约和合约下面的小字会理直气壮的偷你银行里的钱。下面是我个人经历那时候我卡机正好有问题,所以看报纸找到他们。打电话过去,他们说第二天会来人跟我签约。第二天下午来了一个女人叫做STEPHANIE LANG先是给我看一堆宣传单,之后告诉我他们如何如何便宜,我现在的卡机如何如何贵。还给我看了他手下别的客人的账单,用被收取的手续费除以刷卡总额,得出1.7%的手续费率。因为我看到他们网站当时有写免费的小POS(卖价$800)所以问她可不可以卖我或者按照网上价格和合约一起给我,她说可以考虑价格但是不免费,那免费可能是给老外的,他们华人区内部没有这个价格,当时想想也就算了。之后是签约那女的一问三不知,合约上的东西她大都不懂,只是不停催促我签这里那里,我一问的多了她竟然火人当场走了。。。后来我打电话去他们公司问为什么来人都不懂合约内容,让我怎么签约? 他们接电话的服务态度还不错,马上道歉和答应第二天再派一个人来。 第二天 ANDY JIANG来了,他一开始要给我2.4%的费率,我就问她昨天那女的为什么是1.8%给我你要多呢? 他想了想说好,那就1.8% 而且也拿出所谓客户的账单给我看用收费总额(注意“总额”)除以当月信用卡总额 得出1.8%告诉我这费率就是这样的,之后就是签约,签约时候我特别提出要录音,因为美国合约小字骗人太多和他很多地方是空白的不填,说给公司填! 他在合约上写上1.8% 和 免费的POS机器。最后我又重新问了边 好让录音能都录进去。 4月头他发微信跟我说POS可以免费,但是要收150的系统的钱,我想想好吧,就给你收了。后来去他们总公司拿POS机器,我去了之后他们竟然还没有准备好(已经弄了快两个星期了)去那边一个延边女人(华裔部)经理现去找一个技术人员调试,调了1个小时快终于好了,临走时候她跟我说这机器如果退掉要罚$300,我说为什么? 和我签约的ANDY JIANG明明说如果卖店没有任何罚款,她当时想想就说哦 如果他是这样答应你的,那到时候ANDY来赔这钱(这是这一个小时她说的全部和合约有关的话,后来核实时候她又瞎编说我答应了$32一个月之后才拿走机器的) 再后来第一个月被他们收了1.97%的费率打电话过去他们告诉我哦 1.8%是我们公司收的别的是信用卡公司收的....(隐藏费用哈,真有意思),哦对了在这期间我开了他们的GIFT CARD,当时他们只说一张5毛钱。但是!等开了之后又跟我说刷一次收5分,或者每月收$10。又 但是!!!到了月底我发现卡机根本不是免费!每月他们要收取$32的系统费用 和 $30一月的GIFT CARD FEE!!! 后来我打电话去他们公司询问,他们直接说你们当时签约都写在上面的!! 神马时候写在上面了?? 我神马时候答应了~~ 晕菜~~????~~~~~~~~~后来一估计,应该是当初ANDY说的他们公司填的那部分了!!我了个去!!! 哦对了,之后两个月他们把费率调高至2.5% 最终我决定,单方面解约!! 他们最后从我银行收取了1400的罚款,可能还没完。钱从头到尾都不多,但是我还是决定要揭发他们恶心的嘴脸! 让国人警惕这些在美国利用合约欺骗国人的韩国卡机公司。解决方法: 1.联系世界日报 星岛日报 纽约华人等等各平台媒体曝光!英文报社他们根本不CARE。 他们专骗华人。所以联系华人报社给出你所有的证据! 2.关掉银行账号,如果罚款被收走就通过银行要回来再取出所有存款之后关闭银行! 3.因为违约被他们抹黑信用不要怕,拿出你的证据。通过一家信用网站的账号链接解释前因后果,小法庭起诉他们诈骗! 记住你不是一个人! 这里的所有人都可以成为你的证人!

I have been using UMS for over a year and the service has been pretty good so far. The ticketing app is great, I don’t have to sit and on hold for someone to answer my question. There have been some issues that I needed resolved right away and couldn’t get through as soon as I liked, but when I did the reps were understanding and resolved them quickly.

I cancelled my account with this company back in June but their staff did not inform me that I needed to sign a closure form.... long story short they racked me up bills of unused months and turned it into a collection agency and refused to credit my account when I closed it. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! They will screw you!!!!
