Had an hour long session with them, were promised multiple evaluations and business comparisons which we would have found very useful. Nothing ever followed. Tried contacting multiple times afterwards to enquire about next steps and never received anything. Most disappointing for a small business support organization.

I went to SBDC Downtown to talk to a mentor about my small start up business. I signed up to be a member 2 months ago. The classes that they have are helpful and resourceful knowledge for your company. It talks about fundamentals to set you up for success. The classes cost so I have been very particular on the ones to take $29 is the average up to $49. I am a start up so my business has not made money to reinvest in the company with classes & conferences. I advise you to sign up and call to get a mentor immediately. My mentor did her homework about my business. She was prepared with action plans for me & market research homework that was really needed. This really gave me the confidence to research and get my business in gear. I would recommend to small business owners who are new to gain awareness of broadening your horizon in business consultations. The appointment only took 50 minutes.
