It was my first time doing business with a pawn shop and I'm glad I did some homework before coming in. I had a nice HP convertible laptop that was worth quite a bit of money, but wasn't worth a whole lot to pawn (laptops are low demand, the lady I talked to was friendly and polite in explaining this to me). However I was short on cash at the time and figured having an extra $100 would be nice anyway. So, I got a loan for the amount and just paid it off today a month later for $119. Definitely worth checking out if you're short of cash and don't want a payday loan. And their inventory is pretty cool too!
