I wish I could give no stars two gentleman and a blonde lady were in the store all sat around having a conversation. I waited at the door knocked all stared at me and refused to get up. Call customer service they asked if I was at the right location and said no one saw me waiting. Absolutely ridiculous then after I get home tell me to come back because now they are expecting me. Horrible service, horrible staff. I want to hear back from someone as to why they would refuse to acknowledge someone and treat them in that fashion. Don’t go here at all.

Great place to go to sell gold & silver jewelry or coins. The buyer for Gold Standard is very nice & an expert in this business. I have every confidence in him & Im satisfied with the money I get for the sold items. I would recommend this place to friends.

The problem here is use to be. This use to be a great place to sell gold. Now it's garbage all because they have some new guy who jist basicly wants to steal from you. His evaluation for my two rings was $240 the next place I went I was offered $520. This isn't a little different. When I said no thanks he goes let me call my boss. WTF? You buy gold for scrap and there is a set price for scrap gold so weigh it and tell me it's value Thief!! I don't THINK the company knows this or maybe they do. He even looks dishonest. AVOID THIS STORE. He also pops up at the Westbury location.

Terrific atmosphere. It was a very dignified selling experience. You're not standing at a bullet proof window feeling like a beggar. Both Edgar and the boss man Scott took their time to look at your jewelry and give the reasons both good and bad how they determined the value of each piece.I would highly recommend them. And they have candy.

How is it when I call corporate they tell me to go to the store to get the correct weight in penny weight I go to there store location on hillside and I get the weight amd what they offer me.. I then call corporate and tell them the weight and ask how much would I get offered and tje difference is off by $400.. corporate has a good number but the store is under buying O wonder who is taking that money under the table..

I've been to a few places over the last couple years and this place is tops on my list. Been doing many transactions here ( more on the 'Loan' side than selling ) and have yet to be disappointed with anyone in this company. I deal with the Floral Park location 99% of the time and am a very happy customer.

Guy was nice at first but I was starting to feel forced into selling my bracelet. He was making calls & it took a long time. When I said forget it, he became annoyed & was cursing very profanely under his breath. In fact, I felt so bad I, the customer, ended up apologizing to him. I would not return here. They make me nervous. Plus, I got an extra $100 somewhere else. As for all the rave reviews above, it could just have been written by the company itself.
