They really took me bought old silver coins only gave 4 bucks a piece when in reality they worth 20 or more. Won't ever go back there....now they saying in response they was fair n I accepted it too funny since I didn't know what they was worth. I went down the street to a different place n low n behold they told me come back n they are giving g me 13.75 a piece.. things that make you go hmmm.. Took 7 silver dollars up road got 16.00 dollars a piece hmmm.

This was the first time I used this type of service. When I visited in November, the girl carefully went through the items that I brought in. She also informed me that at that time gold was at a low rate for the year and recommended that if I could wait until December or February that the price would probably be much higher. She was right! I returned in February, the same girl was working, and she once again carefully and professionally evaluated my items. I walked out with $380! I felt very comfortable working with the The Gold Buyers of Pittsburgh Monroeville location; the staff was polite and acted with honesty and integrity.

I need to write this review to express my gratitude for the excellent, caring service I received after my Nana had passed and left me all her jewelry, silverware and coin collection. I shopped around the Pittsburgh area, and by far they gave me the best price. I didn't feel like I was being scammed by this store, as I did with the others. They were very helpful, honest and were really sympathetic to my Nana's passing. They were able to carefully remove any gems or stones from the various jewelry pieces, so that I could sell them separately, as they don't deal with these items. It was a huge payday, enough to pay for more than half of my two sons' tuition for the next 2 years, with the rest coming in grants and small loans. Thank you, again, to the fine people at the Monroeville branch of The Gold Buyers of Pittsburgh!
