Client Review on Tampa Bay Federal Credit Union

Feedback:

I have been using this credit union for 15 years as my share branch in Tampa as a home owner and a military officer when I come back on leave. I purchased many cashiers checks for over the daily cash limit at this location many times like in any other credit union, and even by suggestion/confirmation of an agent/supervisor there as well. In August 2018 I came in to this credit union and get a $3850 cashiers check and few days later a bigger one. The first cashier check was process with no issues questions explanations, nothing more but the slip. This cashiers check unfortunately was handed to the contractor” who happens to come in the credit union with me, who cashed it right there on the spot with no issue. I found out he was a scammer/criminal who I had to take to court and got a judgement by the judge for him to return the money he stole from me. I came in and got a copy of the check for the court and make sure you guys knew the person that cashed it was a scammer, so that way if you saw his name in the future you could be vigilant and helpful to other victims. Few days later I got a bigger cashiers check I also needed with no explanation as usual other than write the slip. I came back in April 2019, and Fehi and the two upstairs women humiliated me, saying that it have always been the case for cashiers check not over 1500 a day, as it is for the cash. They kept me there for 2 hours even after I called the HQs and the agent didn’t understand why Fehi, Henry and company couldn’t give me a $1537.50 cashiers check even when I showed them a legitimate contract and begged them, as well as told them the last two dates of my large two cashiers check I got from here with no issue. The Tampa agent on speaker phone told Fahi I had money and he didn’t understand why Henry, her or the two upstairs agents on that Saturday wouldn’t just process a 1537.50 cashiers check. They kept my ID upstairs and forgot about me. Fahi was hypocritical or not sincere with her actions. The other two only nice to their own culture, that I noticed. However, I strongly believe this credit union is bias, prejudice and discriminates against some people and need to to retrain and apologize before they run into a lawsuit. The scammer or fake contractor was Caucasian and this credit union was willing to give me my bank account to give him. However, I was able for years and not too long ago as I explained to purchase larger than cash daily limit cashiers checks by myself. Maybe it was just the individuals on that Saturday that represented this credit union in a bias, discriminated, disrespectful way to me and the credit union. I had never been treated like this and I’m not only a law abided citizen but a successful and professional decent individual with more years with my credit union and using this one than those who served me wrongfully on that day. They should not only apologize, but need training or reprimand, otherwise they will force this credit union into a I civil and federal authorities and media involvement because their discriminating and disrespectful behavior against gender, origin, race, ethnicity and more.
