This bank is horrible, they constantly have issues with they're system and won't let you withdraw your money, but are still willing to take deposits. No help for the consumer at all.

I had an account at this bank for the sole purpose of an auto loan. The bank requires that you setup autopay to get the offered rate, which I set up through the Sun East site to pull funds from another bank to go directly through to go to the auto loan. I have since moved my loan to another bank for convenience/ better service. Since everything was paid off and I had no other need for an account, I COMPLETELY closed the auto loan account and the checking account they require you to have. In doing so I no longer had access on the website to see any previous info. After closing the account, they neglect to automatically disable the autopay and still pulled money from my other bank. How is this legal? Where are you putting my money if there is no account open? when i called in, the lady's response was that i needed to go on the site and turn off the autopay. However, As i previously stated Sun east will not allow me on the site because I have no open accounts. I was put on a length hold and the lady came back and said that they would go in and turn off the autopay. If they can do this then why dont they make sure this is done on each and every loan when its paid off? In the meantime, the withdraw caused an overdraft at my other bank and a fee. When i asked them to please reject the payment and send back to the other bank the lady said no and that I would need to wait for the funds to post and then they would mail me a check. When I asked them to overnight a check they said no. So now I have to wait likely a week for my money to be returned to me and I have to pay the overdraft fee. It cant be legal to withdraw money to accounts that are closed and refuse to return the money for several days. It needs to be someones job there to disable autopay you require once the loan is paid off.

Scum of the East credit union is the worst of the transaction shufflers.UPDATE!!! Charging for ATM use 3 dollars. 1 dollar to check your account balance. Seriously a dollar to check my account. Scum of the East shaking every Sheckle they can out of ya.

They're a bunch of thieves. They let a loan company take out a check $80.00 over the amount I wrote the check for and charged me $400 in fees for it. They were extremely rude and a complaint with be filed with the NCUA if the issue is not resolved quickly.

Been with them since I was a child when my parents opened my first account for me. Only thing that stinks are their hours during the week and especially on the weekends. Very difficult to get there
