Feedback:

Great friendly bank that remembers me by name. I only go in once a month maybe and don’t have much money, but they remember me. First bank that’s done that, makes me feel important. Always friendly inside and drive thru. And always helpful with any papers or past documentation I need.

I thought going to a smaller bank would be beneficial, but it ended up being the complete opposite. The mobile banking app for Stearns Bank crashes frequently, other times it will say "Balance Unavailable." Customer service is a joke. If you leave the St. Cloud area you are sure to be assessed fee's for using your card at the ATM as they don't have mutual ATM machines nor a MoneyPass card like U.S. Bank. There is no mobile deposit, no ATM deposit. They could care less about the customers, every time I walk in I get the feeling every one there is just there for a paycheck. All in all I would avoid Stearns Bank when there are much better options out there!

One of the worst banks I have ever dealt with. Went to the drive through to exchange $40 for four rolls of quarters. The lady asked if I had an account with them. No, cause I live an hour away. She says she can't exchange it then. Seriously? It's not like I am cashing a check. The teller lady was rude as hell and smiled while she was being rude. So I call to speak to the bank manager. I explain the situation and she tells me it's because of risk of money laundering? Really!? Do you honestly think I am going to money launder $40? Then I proceeded to ask why other banks would do it but not them. She said it's a federal thing. If it's a federal thing then no banks would do it period. Just as I was about to say something she says thanks for calling and literally hangs up on me and clearly slammed the phone down as you could hear it smack the base of the phone.I recommend staying away from this bank all together and take your business somewhere else. Horrible horrible and unprofessional.
