My family used Star of David for both my father's and my grandmother's funerals in the past 7 years. We were pleased with their knowledgeable and professional staff, who were able to expertly guide us in our time of sorrow. Recently my mother and I were having an unrelated conversation about how often we have negative customer-service experiences with different companies, and she countered that Star of David was the only exception she could think of where she had nothing but good things to say! When you're grieving a loved one, that's especially important.

Very professional service. Kevin Gray was comforting and dedicated, he took care of everything from the first call to the final goodbye and was very transparent and informative through the process. A death in the family is such a painful event, and the stress is compounded by the sudden need to arrange a funeral when you have no experience doing so. It was good to work with someone you can trust with the arrangements. Kevin was excellent and I highly recommend him and his company.

My father passed on Friday evening at 9:45 pm. All I had was a deed for family plot in a cemetery that I hadn't been to in over 40 years. When I looked up the cemetery, Star of David Memorial Chapel also showed up. Thank goodness. I called first thing Saturday morning. I spoke to Kevin Gray. He was on another call that asked if he could call me back. Within an hour Kevin call me. He asked a few questions and told me that we would be ready for a service on Sunday, Mother's Day, at noon. That was it. Star of David handled everything. Everything. For me, it was surreal. One phone call and Kevin took care of putting together a beautiful service. I can't say it enough, Star of David Memorial Chapel took a most difficult, stressful moment and made sure my father hd a beautiful and respectful service. I can't thank them enough.

Andy Novak and the staff of the Star of David Memorial Chapel were very kind and caring during the whole process of planning and having my husband's funeral. Andy's professionalism and kindness made the whole experience easy as it could be under the circumstances. The whole family is grateful to him and his staff. I highly recommend Star of David to anyone who is in need of Jewish funeral services.

Extremely positive experience during a terrible time in our lives. The owners and workers were all caring, professional, honest and open about all the details including the cost, which seemed fair and reasonable. Unfortunately I've heard stories of other places taking advantage of people and overcharging them. Not my experience here. Making a tragic time as easy and comforting as possible was greatly appreciated. Thank you.

While I hope we never have to see them again, Kevin and Andy were the consummate professionals in handling our beloved fathers funeral. There were unforeseen circumstances and clerical issues (not their fault but rather the hospitals fault) yet Kevin and Andy assisted us with everything.If you are reading this, you are probably doing so for a reason...therefor I offer you my condolences and highly recommend that you put your trust in Star of David Memorial Chapel. The service was perfect and we are so glad we chose Kevin and Andy. Thank you both very much!

Trusting, Respectful, and an overall great experience! Andy Novak, Kevin and all the staff were just amazing in helping deal with the loss of my adored Mom Toby in May 2019. Andy was absolutely amazing and a pleasure to deal with. He guided us every step of the way and was available via phone at any time for any question..and I had lots. There were no hidden fees as he laid out everything in detail up front. He was very compassionate, comforting and a true professional. We had the service in the Waters Chapel which is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. Our own Rabbi cancelled on us a couple days before and Andy was able to get us a great Rabbi with no issue. Everything fell into place and Star of David came through in every aspect. I had set up the funeral arrangements a couple weeks before my Mom passed which was the best thing to do. It would have been much tougher if we had done it after the fact. Thanks again Andy and team at Star of David! My Mom would be proud and she was right to pick your establishment months before she passed.

I just want to say this place is a pleasure to work with your staff is wonderful. I was doing this from New Jersey over the phone from my aunt that passed away in Boca. Even though everything was paid for years ago they made everything so easy. I would highly recommend the Star Of David. When my mom had to go to assisted living, we decided it would be best to "pre-plan" her funeral arrangements. I contacted Star of David since it is very close to the cemetery. I worked with Kevin who was very thorough in guiding me through the process. I didn't just take his word for it since I had time and I typically research everything thoroughly. Everything he told me seemed to check out in terms of services, costs, state regulations, etc. He explained to me the difference between revocable and non-revocable trust and I verified that everything was accurate. About 15 months later my mom passed. The "pre-plan" funeral arrangement turned out to be a very smart decision. I did not need to be burdened with any confusion or stress at the time of my mother's death. Everything about the services, the casket, transport, gratuities, arrangement with the cemetery, etc was already pre-selected and prepaid in advance during a time where I could best make those types of decisions. When my mom passed, I just called Kevin and he took care of everything just the way we specified it in the plan. Everything about the service was exactly the way we had planned and exactly what Kevin had promised and exactly what my mom would have wanted. He also made some good recommendations on restaurants in the area for after the funeral. We pretty much just had to show up, nothing else to do, and not $1 more than what we prepaid. They handled all the distribution of gratuities with the amount we specified at the time we pre-planned, I did not need to worry about anything. I would highly recommend Star of David for funeral services and would also highly recommend pre-planning to eliminate as much stress as possible during a very difficult time.
