Feedback:

I've been banking with Spire for ten years now. They always have short wait times and friendly faces, and calling their customer service lines will get you connected to a real human without jumping through hurdles. I've even got my car financed through them now because I got a killer deal for being a member. Break up with your bank and join a credit union that cares about you.

Corbin Peterson ROCKS! I was in a rush (as usual) to get to a doctors appointment. It's like I'm a pony express rider and Corbin jumps on with me barely slowing down.She answers all my questions, calms my fears, reads me (correctly) and sets up the account the way I want it, carefully letting me know all of the implications, and "BAM!" it's a done deal. She's waving goodbye and I'm riding off into the sunset. 5 stars that jingle jangle jingle ...... as I go riding merrily along

My husband & I have had chkg/svgs accounts there (and more recently, 2 loans) for almost 20 years. SPIRE is a very good credit union that has 'rules' & 'fees' like other banks do - so ask about them before opening an acct & follow them! (P.S. I don't recall the last time we've had to pay a 'fee' there.)

I've used them for 2 car loans (you must be a member to get a loan; I opened a savings acct with just $10). They had better rates than the big banks. I was able to get pre approved over the phone and just come in to sign the paperwork and pick up a check. It was a very smooth, hassle free process.

Customer service is rude and dismissive. I love my credit union (been with them for 10 years), but this is the nearest shared branch and I always dread going there. I have yet to have a good experience. I would give zero stars if I could. I may refinance my accounts JUST so I don't have to go back there.

The customer service is great. The interest rates on savings accounts is very low. While many banks and credit unions are raising their rates, Spire hasn't changed much.

Jeff Lenz at the Roseville location on 1/26 was a rockstar. Literally best experience I’ve ever had. I came in on a Saturday with an obviously overly needy request and he did his job so well and got me out the door beating all my expectations with how the situation would go. Truly phenomenal at his job. Give him a raise.
