Client Review on SPIRE Credit Union - Elk River

Feedback:

I called the main customer service number on a Saturday morning to see if I needed an appointment to open up an account. Was told no. I mentioned which branch I was going to. When I got to that branch the sign on the door says only the drive through was open on Saturdays. So we headed to the next closest branch. 20 miles away. Got there about 30 minutes to close. They took our names and we waited. They had 2 people working with clients. Multiple tellers standing around. 35 minutes later we were brought into an office. As we sat down we were told they are closed and we would need to come back another day. I can understand when it's time to close. But here's my problem with this. First if you don't want to be a minute past close time then stop taking names earlier. You wasted more of my time than I did of yours. Second your customer service girl was so condisending and rude. If it were me. I would have worked with the customer. There was no one else after us. At the very least she could have kept my info and work on everything so all we would have to do is stop in and sign and deposit money. We work long hours all week and some Saturdays so we decided to go to a different bank that had friendlier tellers that would work with us. Our new accts were set up that afternoon.
