Temple SBDC failed to return or follow up on requests to be assigned a consultant. After 4 to 5 weeks of calling I finally received a consultant. The consultant never responded to my request to review my Business Plan. The legal department never contacted me for review of my documents. I understand that this is not a purchased program but I did not expect that it would be one of the worst government experiances I have had. I do not recomend this govt subsidises program to be such a failure for me.

As we began out endeavor many obstacles needed to be crossed and being a young entrepreneur having to wear a multiudes of hats can overwhelm and dishearten any aspiring business owner in its infacy. This is one of many factors that can and will cause businesses to fail.Although succes or failure is ultimately based on the decisions you make as well as the work and sacrifices you put in to your endeavor hard work and good decision making may not be enough to gaurentee success.Temple SBDC does not can not and will not gaurentee your success but with thier help and assistance guidence and councel and by surrounding yourself with other entrepreneurs who are as young and aspiring as yourself and has experianced some of the pitfalls you may can and will experience the probabilities of success increases and you greatly reduce the probabilities of failure.Without the assistance guidance and resources of Temples SBDC the likelyhood of success would have been greatly diminished in my case Without the ability to network with others who have been overwhelmed and being given thier ways of crossing those same issues the fatigue and strain may have been the catylst to give in to quitting my dreams.If i can pass along just one piece of advise to any of you who are willing to place in the time effort and sacrifice of beginning your business i would say this to you "Do not underestimate the power of numbers and go at this alone. Empower yourself with the assistance you will need to begin and continue your dreams and increase dramatically the chances of success by using the greatest resource that i have utilised and continue to do so to this very day TEMPLES SBDC. It will be a disservice to you and your aspiring dreams not to"
