Honestly, if I could give no stars I would for the El Dorado, AR location. I have never received such awful customer service from any business in my entire life. I should have taken the warning sign when I first entered into the bank and how rude they were then. Instead, I attempted to give them another chance. Who takes loan applications and never ever gets back with a person after 30+ days? Who does that, seriously. Even after leaving several messages, calling to Smackover, and sending an e-mail... NOTHING!!! I am irate that this is how they treat their customers. I could've easily taken my business elsewhere and been valued as a customer. They should at least remove the hard pull from my credit report, since they did absolutely nothing. Like another reviewer stated, I went to them after hearing someone else seemingly brag, but this was awful. I wouldn't refer anyone, not even a dog to this bank.Want a good bank in town, try Simmons First Bank. I should've known better.

They take forever to give you any kind of card. The figure you don't need one.

It's a small town bank. So you get small town service, which isn't all bad. After 20+ years of being away, it was nice to have people call me by my first name when I entered. Americans get so catch up on fast things that they take quality things for granted. I like the down home atmosphere. But they could use some upgrades in their online backing site.

I have had nothing but problems with this bank! I thought it would be great to bank here since someone had referred me to this bank saying that it was such a good bank. Well, first off they do not give you your ATM card there on the spot like a lot of other banks do. That should have been our first warning. We had to wait 10 days to receive our ATM cards! So we were living off of checks! What a huge inconvience. You know a bank is stuck in the 90's when you see them typing your information on a typewriter. This isn't a high tech bank at all. They also have a telephone service that you can call to find out your balance. Which is never accurate. I also wanted to place a cashier check inside my checking account. I placed it in on a Friday and they told me they would have to hold it until Wednesday! This was such bull!!! I mean do they not understand what a cashier's check is? Ridiculous! I am going to bank with someone else, I am so done with this bank! I don't recommend this bank to anyone! Please beware if you are thinking of going with them!
