Used Peoples bank to do a bill pay for my sikorsky credit card. I paid by bill pay on Friday 8/3/18 for the entire balance of almost $3000 which was due on 8/10/18. A check was processed by Peoples United Bank on 8/5/18. Sikorsky did not post to my account until Monday 8/13/18. Obviously the envelope was postmarked well before the due date of 8/10/18. Sikorsky not only charged a late fee of $25 but also interest of $35. With a 3 way conversation between me, Peoples Bank and Sikorsky, as a one time courteously they did FINALLY reverse the $25 after a long complaint but i got stuck for the $35 finance fee. The customer service rep insisted Sikorsky does not reverse finance fees.The person on the phone was rude and could care less about helping me. There were problems with mail delivery because of wildfires in California I dont know if that is what caused the delay but Sikorsky could care less.
