I cannot tell you how many lenders I have tried to do business with in the past 8 months! I was about to give up and walk away from my home and its mess of variable interest rates rising for no reason, other than to blame it on our economy getting better. I was never late and yet it kept increasing. Then one day, I received an advertisement from SEMPER Home Loans. I am not one to call companies that solicit me because you just never know who you are calling. But I was desperate. I picked up the phone, ready to insult the agent and heard a very caring individual on the other end. Instead of feeling like I had to challenge this person (His name is Michael Glover), I began to cry like a baby. I explained our horrible nightmare of a situation to him and he said not to worry and he would do everything within his power to help us. I was still not a true believer, but thinking I would have to walk away from our home and our near perfect credit would be shot anyway... what additional harm could come if this guy was not genuine. Something inside of me told me I could trust Michael and what he was saying to me. (Usually I am one of second guessing myself.) Within 15 minutes, I had a list of things I needed to send to Michael, most of which I already had set aside when trying to work with other companies. I called for a pest inspection, which passed. I sent Michael all my required documents, he had an appraiser contact me in two days. After the appraiser left, Michael called me in a couple of days and said everything was good to go. I took a look at the closing docs he sent me in the email... I was still sceptic, I would have to admit. After all… those are just estimates and I was SURE the docs information would change once the Notary arrived. Well, the Notary did arrive and I had my red pen out as well as my highlighter, prepared to deny the loan, since everyone else had attempted (poorly) to hide additional costs. But to my surprise... nothing had changed. It was exactly what we had agreed to. I was pretty excited. I couldn't believe I actually found a lender who was complete honest and with me 100% of the way! His processor, Robert equally professional and on target was amazing also. I sit here today, in tears... but tears of joy. I don't have to walk away from my house, I am saving a bunch of money and my rate will NEVER go up again. And I believe Michael when he says he will always be available if I have any problems in the future. I am also happy because Michael can do several types of loans, including assisting my daughter and son in law with their first purchase. Thank you so much, Semper... for sending me that invitation to call and try for this refi, and employing Michael and Robert. You have no idea how much you have helped us. SEMPER for LIFE!

Besides purchasing our dream home, using Semper Home Loans was one of the best decisions we made! I was put in touch with Stephanie Amedee, and she is absolutely amazing! We found our forever home, and within 3 weeks we were moving in! Stephanie is definitely on top of her game, she promptly answered any questions we had no matter what time it was. She even came to us when we needed to get some paperwork finished. She is very knowledgeable about the business and will help you with anything you need. I would highly recommend her and Semper Home Loans to anyone buying a home.

CLOSED REFINANCE LOAN.This was the best experience I have had with home loans, and I work for a banking Institute. We refinanced and greatly reduced our monthly mortgage rate and payment . Mike was honest and transparent throughout the process. Semper delivered a loan with a lower rate and fees compared with four other companies including the bank I work for, and closed within 15 days. I recommend Semper vs. going larger institutions due to the hands on experience and extreme attention to detail. Very satisfied!

Semper deserves 0 stars! Semper’s loan process is like a ride down a bumpy road in a jalopy held together with wire and duct tape. Our take on the Semper style is sloppy, stressful and filled with costly mistakes. We needed a rehab loan to restore a beautiful historic home and they were unable to “architect” a home loan for us. “The process” was filled with errors, stress, sexism, lack of transparency, and high rates and fees. “The Skinny” is Semper lacks honesty, disregards and ignores women, and has absolutely no consideration for the needs of the customer.
