They sold my loan to a new company, kept cashing my payments. Only reason I found out it's the new company contacted me looking for 3 months of payments. Left 10+ voicemails, this place is very fraudulent

Have a 2 year loan with them and made every payment and all of the sudden at 7 months left they say I missed payments and that I may be transferred to a new company but then next payment they say oh you’ve never missed payments then I get paperwork in the mail that I am transferred to a new company. Needed a 1 day payment extension and spen 2 hours being told that they will transfer me to the department to set that up and then I go back to the main menu. My girlfriend was a co-signer and her info is all of a sudden gone from the account as well. She has cancer and we need the car to get her to treatments and now I’m going to lose it over them lying that I missed payments and selling my loan. Run away like I should have. Nobody will care all they want is to get their money and don’t care who gets hurt in it. They got paid and now I’m screwed out of my money.

Horrible. Unprofessional. Rude. Terrible customer service. They threatened to take my car, with five payments left, because I was a DAY late on the payment. The person that contacts me about my account changes every couple of months. They've called being very aggressive and disrespectful, telling me I am behind on my payments when I'm actually not. To make it worse they will argue with you about the matter until you give them the receipt number for the payment, then hang up without even the smallest apology for wrongfully harassing you. The cherry on top is te fact that we are not the only ones who has been suckered into paying thousands more than the car is worth, just because we are first time buyers. STEER CLEAR OF SAL.

I called back in August & was told I had 2 months 600 left until the loan was payed off, called today because I keep getting phone calls & emails saying my payment is late just to find out I have 4 months of payments left & also 30 days of late fees!! IM POOR!!! & I'm still waiting for them to email me my contract!!! #Goddontlikescammers

I find the attitude of reviewers who suggest that because we are high risk buyers, we should accept insulting and explosive treatment absolutely jaw-dropping. When I am will have cost me an additional $4,700. They are not doing me any favors. I am paying handsomely for this loan and like any other business I deal with, I expect to be treated with respect. The idea that it is morally just to treat people with poor credit badly is staggering. SAL is responsible for not only making huge profits off of us, they are somehow fostering a climate of degradation of their clients and feeling good about it. Stating that we should not complain and accept such base treatment is a shocking occurrence I can only put down to self-centered bigotry and privilege. One bad representative is an anomaly. Consistent reporting of threats and humiliation of the people who provide their bread and butter is Outrageous and simply gratuitous.

They keep threatening to take my vehicle because I can only make a payment of 200 on today. Like I get they want to earn commission but the reality is if I don't have the full amount something is better than nothing. Today I talked to nancy she was rude and basically told me I need to come up with the full payment of 357.00 by end of business today or else. Like who does that? I have 2005 Yukon I am paying damn near 10000.00 to finance like what about that even makes since number one, why would you want the vehicle when its worth more to let me pay it off. Everyone has hard times at times I would expect so much more from a company that takes out loans on 15 year old vehicles.

I would give zero stars if I could. Dealing with these people was the worst experience of my life. I didn’t do any research before the car dealership used this company, I wish I had. Under no circumstances would I ever suggest someone work with these aweful people!!!! There is no low they won’t go to when dealing with you.
