I have a deck that was installed by these people 10-15 years ago. They used what looks to have been a poor grade of treated lumber from Menard's, so for the past 4-5 years I have been replacing pieces of the deck that are now rotting out. It is my belief that a treated deck should last much longer than ten years. The lumber was so wet when they built it, that I had to replace many of the 2 x 2 pieces in the railing because they warped so bad as the wood dried out. The deck was also professionally stained a year after it was installed, so I would have to assume the wood rot would have started even sooner had it not been stained. Good workers, poor quality material.
