The owner was friendly when I walked in, but didn’t actually do any appraisal on the coins I am looking to sell. I was told that all of the US currency ones were “face value” and could be used to buy things, yet my research shows $70 at the lowest price for one of them that I actually have a couple of. The Canadian coins I went in with I was told were worth a certain price in silver. I’m guessing by weight, yet I didn’t see him weigh them? I guess this place is more for weight in gold and silver rather than collection value.

Made a special trip to R&T Antiques today only to find it not open. Google maps has it open until 6pm. No hours posted on the door or anywhere else around the building. Unprofessional.

Store hours are not accurate. This is the second time I’ve come in three weeks to find the doors closed before 5 even though everywhere says they are open till 6pm.

This guy is very slick, arrogant and cocky. LET THE SELLER BEWARE! He offered me pennies on the dollar. I bought certain items`years ago at flea markets and paid big money. I did my homework. The offer he made me was ridiculous. He came out to the car and looked at my items while I waited in the cold wind. I asked him to bring the items in and he refused. STAY AWAY! I guess he's been screwing people for over 25 years.

My aunt and I watched the Live Auction show this store does, while we were in Brant Lake.We got an amazing ring for just 10 bucks, which was worth about 75 bucks. We won the auction and had to drive to the store and pick it up. I love upstate NY. Friendly people, honest, and hard working.
