I cannot recommend this company.I contacted Rate Pro since supposedly they specialize in helping self employed persons to buy a home. After speaking with the owner, Rick Gilbert, although I had some reservations, since he was rather sarcastic and did not seem overly eager to help, I did decide to send my information to see if I would be able to obtain a loan.Obviously, if this were a professional company, even if they could not help, they could certainly have the professionalism and courtesy of a response either way.I sent my personal financial records and after initially going over some details I never heard from them after following up to see what I qualified for. I then contacted another lender and had a pre- qualification the very next day.I would have not rated this company with even one star, but had to in order to post the review.
