Just had Rainey's process half a beef for us. My order was simple; I wanted all primal cuts and roast to avoid getting a freezer full of ground beef. They did the exact opposite and gave me 118 pounds of ground. The other cuts are so poorly done I can't get a single decent steak out of any of it. I did my research before buying this beef and your typical loss from hanging weight to take home should be around 30-35%. My loss was over 50%, so of my 395 hang weight I received 190 pounds. I tried to work this out with the owner and he completely denied any responsibility. Not good business.
