Overall Feedback:

I have missed my last and final payment to complete my four months same as cash because I had emergency surgery. I was not able to walk for 8 weeks and was not able to work during this time. I continued to make my ach scheduled payments during this time. Once I called to make my final payment and close my account I was told I owed additional $1,500.00. I was expecting some sort of fee but did not believe it would be this amount because they were taking money from my account every other week. I called six times before I was able to speak to a team lead about paying off my account. I was told that this was my first time calling and they would no longer honor our initial agreement. I understand giving penalties but at this time I had already paid for my furniture which was a sofa and chair. The company wanted to continue to draft my account every other week for the next year to pay a total amount of $2,500.00 for my purchase. I tried explaining my situation and stated that I could provide documents / doctors notes and proof of surgery but they were unwilling to work with me. I was under the impression that a company could provide some type of hardship for people who get in situations. I would absolutely never recommend this company because they tried to over charge me at the beginning of my purchase when I found that the items I was interested in were actually on sale for about $500.00 less. The leasing company and the store wanted to charge me a delivery fee. I am a single mother and can not afford to pay double for my purchase esp because I had an emergency. I would rather sit on the floor than ever bother with this company again. I should have done regular financing for my furniture and this would have saved me the headache.This is my first time exploring this option and I would tell everyone to avoid it at all cost.I have called an additional three times and have not been able to speak to the recovery department. I was told they would call me by the end of the week last week. I am trying to return my furniture because I do not want to pay an extra $1,500.00 when my initial purchase was just under $1,000.00. This is insane to keep paying every other week for these items for the next year. I have times, dates, and names and will be writing a letter to the company about their customer service. Please avoid this option at all cost because they will not work with the customers even though they are getting automatic payments from your account bi weekly.
