Fairly surprised by the negative reviews. I've worked with a number of credit card companies, and this has been the cheapest, most integrated option for me that saves cards, runs recurring transactions, and integrates with chirotouch (my EHR software). Never had any issues with funding, and honestly the customer service has been great

If I could give them 0 stars I would, by far the worst credit card processing company there is. Sometimes waiting days to have my account funded.

I was promised a particular fee arrangment, which was not followed through. While they refunded some costs, it was difficult to close the account. I finally succeeded in closing the account January, 2016. Now, 17 months later, I am getting billed and my account is being debited for a minimum billing fee.

Terrible company. Terrible service. The tech side doesn't know what software side is doing. Customer service doesn't know what tech side is doing. Lots and lots of apologies but no answers. Took 5 weeks to receive new card readers. Then found they shipped the card readers WITHOUT the cabling. Then when the cabling arrived found out that the warehouse had shipped out 4 of the 5 new card readers WITHOUT mandatory encryption configurations being programmed in the readers. Took another week to receive replacement card readers. Calls to their tech support dept about card readers not working took hours to be returned. The only thing OpenEdge was quick at was giving themselves favorable reviews on their Facebook page and taking down unfavorable comments. (I'd give them a rating of less than one star if that option were available)

This place is terrible to do business with. They have no ideal of what customer service is or how to achieve it. They get you half way installed and never hear from them again. When you call for help they transfer you from one person to the next without ever helping.

As a small business owner and deal with customers all day. This business Open Edge has no customer service. The account was supposed to be closed in April 2015 as we switched to Evalon. In December the bookkeeper noticed that we were getting double billed from our current processor Evalon and from Open Edge called and talked to Melissa on Dec 18 and assured the account would be closed and the past three months of charges would be refunded. That did not happen.In January 2016 received another statement from Open Edge and called back and talked to Blaine a "Supervisor" who assured me that he would process it immediately. Today 1 February the account is still open and no refund. No one will assist you and will not allow you to talk anyone above the supervisor level. Where is the customer service?
