Client Review on Pasadena Federal Credit Union

They’re good if you have no issues or specific problems that need be dealt with. Once you do have an issue where you need their help, they are close to terrible. They have prevented my account from fraud once before, which I appreciate. However, lately I’ve realized how inefficient they are. I have been with them for about 4 years. I never really had issues that needed to be dealt with, so i never really had to call them. Lately, though, I’ve had a card issue that needed to be dealt with. Here are the issues:1. They hardly answer their phone. If you call them anytime between 11pm and 1pm they NEVER answer because everybody is on lunch. 2. If you make a transaction that they feel is suspicious, they disable your card. If this happens on the weekend, or weekday after 5pm, there is literally nothing you can do about it; your card is locked, and you can’t spend any money until you call them to enable it, which you can only do when they are open mon-fri 9-5 lol. 3. They can’t make a debit card on the spot because they use a separate vendor and it takes a week to 10 days to get a new one, ONLY IF YOU’RE LUCKY. My debit card had started to get old, so i called them to order a new one. For one, they didn’t even warn me that my current card would be disabled on the spot haha (laughing because im in disbelief). They didn’t even offer advice, such as “come in and get a temporary card while your new card is coming in” nope. They just disabled it, so i guess they expected me to not spend money for a week to 10 days??? No, probably just careless and weren’t thinking about it.4. They’re debit card vendor is terrible. When i ordered my card, i waited 10 days. It came, IT DIDN’T WORK. When i was on the phone to call them, IT TOOK 3 HOURS FOR THEM TO FINALLY REALIZE THE VENDOR MADE A MISTAKE. So i ordered a new one. That new one had a chip mistake on it. SO I ORDERED ANOTHER ONE. Finally, this last one ordered worked (oh yea, they also sent another one on accident, so i had 3 cards sent to me that didn’t work hahahahah). IT DOESNT STOP THERE THOUGH LADIES AND GENTLEMAN. This one I have now was working, but when i make transactions at businesses that use credit instead of debit, it doesn’t work. So now i need a new debit card. Mind you, this has been a month and a few weeks long issue.I switched to Logix and much happier. Will never be coming back to Pasadena credit union.
